Sarantis Romania S.A. was founded in 1996. The company's activities include the distribution of own Personal Care and Home Care Products as well as brands of international consumer companies through representation agreements.

During 2007, SARANTIS GROUP acquired the Romanian company ELMIPLANT, a personal care company specializing in face and body care products.

The company’s brand portfolio includes the own Personal Care Products STR8, BU, C-THRU, ELODE and ELMIPLANT and the own household products FINO, TOP STAR and TUB.O.FLO, as well as the distributed mass market brands of the companies JOHNSON & JOHNSON, SODALIS, ANTONIO PUIG, CHURCH & DWIGHT and EDGEWELL and the luxury brands LA PRAIRE, CAROLINA HERERRA, PACO RABANNE, JEAN PAUL GAULTIER.

SARANTIS ROMANIA also distributes health & care products such as NEUTROGENA, LISTERINE, JOHNSON’S BABY, COMPEED etc.
